How we look after your data — the short, honest version. Last updated: July 2026.

1. Who we are

Gathers Ground is part of the Wonderly family and is operated by Wonderly Ventures Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. For data you give us directly (your account, your team, billing) we are the data controller. Our registered address and ICO registration number will be published here prior to public launch. Contact: hello@wonderlyventures.com

2. Guest data — a special note

If you run your properties on Gathers Ground, you'll store your guests' details (names, contact details, bookings) in the platform. For that data, your organisation is the controller and we act as your processor: we store and process it only to run the platform for you, and never use it for our own purposes. You remain responsible for having a lawful basis to hold your guests' data.

3. What we collect

• Account data — your name, email and organisation details • Operational data — the properties, bookings, tasks, suppliers and records your team creates • Payment data — processed by Stripe; card numbers never touch our servers • Technical basics — IP address and browser type, in server logs, for security No advertising trackers, no data brokers.

4. Who we share it with

Only the services that make the platform work: Supabase (database and sign-in, EU/UK region), Stripe (payments and payouts), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages), and our hosting providers. Each processes data under its own agreement with us. We never sell data.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or hand it over in a portable format. Email hello@wonderlyventures.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Guests should contact the organisation they booked with first — we'll support that organisation in answering.

6. How long we keep it

Account and operational data: while your organisation's account is active, then deleted on request or after 2 years of inactivity. Financial records: 7 years, as the law requires.

7. Cookies

We only set cookies that are strictly necessary — the ones that keep you signed in. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.

8. Questions or complaints

Anything on your mind about your data: hello@wonderlyventures.com If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
